Our Story
Faithful Footsteps (FF) was founded in the summer of 2019 by Emily Wurster after a life-changing mission trip to Tijuana Christian Mission (TCM). During her visit, Emily felt a deep calling from God to support the children and staff at TCM. What started as a simple desire to help quickly grew into something much bigger. The journey began with a single need—shoes. Emily organized a shoe drive, and through the generosity of friends and supporters, she was able to buy every child at TCM a brand-new pair of shoes. The success of that first project sparked the vision for Faithful Footsteps, and soon, the organization expanded to meet not just the need for shoes but any way that God was calling Emily to serve.
Today, FF continues to grow, following God's direction in every step. We encourage everyone to consider taking a mission trip to TCM to experience the impact of serving firsthand. If mission trips aren’t possible for you, there are still many ways to get involved—giving back from home, whether through donations or prayer, is a powerful way to show God’s love.
As Emily shares, "My mission trip to TCM was truly the most life-changing, faith-growing thing I have ever done. I feel so blessed to be called by God to do this. I have fallen in love with TCM and I’m grateful every day that God has lead me here."
